Creative Beauty Concepts was founded by Ernie Brauchi, a third generation beauty industry professional and innovator. His father and mentor, Rolf Brauchli, began his career as an accomplished hair designer in Switzerland. He moved to America  in 1953 and became one of the first leaders in the industry movement of changing from wet roller setting to heat setting using the Solis hot air waving comb and later blow dryers and other electrical appliances. In 1957, Rolf Brauchli Inc. was formed to provide distribution of the Solis hairdryers, imported from Europe. Later as importing and distribution grew, Rolf and a partner created the Solano brand. Ernie became involved in the family business as a young man and became a partner and VP of Marketing and Sales during the 80s and 90s, when Solano was the most talked about brand of quality hair dryers. Before the passing of his father, Ernie Brauchli gravitated to his own arena as sole owner of Creative Beauty Concepts, specializing in the distribution of multiple brands of electrical appliances, styling tools, and products to beauty professionals.

Through the years of operating a high quality distributor business with an in house service center, Ernie gained first hand experience in understanding the technology and innovation that industry artists needed to perform their craft.

In 2004, Ernie introduced the new brand of tools for the professional hair stylists called Artizen. The signature appliances were the digital flat Irons with Surround Heating for curls, romantic looks & straightening with new innovations to iron technology. Ernie Brauchli identified missing performance requirements and developed a new system of irons incorporating his concept of Surround Heating™, and introduced the Artizen 5KV Ionic Dryer - a lightweight powerful toof with perfect balance. The newest products from the Artizen brand is the Artizen Wireless Detail Iron, a small cordless iron with car and home charger, and Artizen 5 Star Shears featuring cobalt offset with finger rest and jeweled tension screw.
